NEW PROJECTS FOR 2009

Craft Workshops
In the past we have run craft workshops such as leatherworking, glass painting workshops. If materials are sponsored, we will co-ordinate volunteers from the community.

Music
A number of musical instruments were donated for a brass band for the youth of Uniondale, which is no longer in existence. We are in the process of co-ordinating volunteers from the community to teach music to youngsters using these instruments.

Internet Cafe
Most youngsters do not have access to computers to do their homework, or become familiar with the internet. Uniondale High School has agreed to let youngsters use their computer lab under supervision. We are in the process of co-ordinating volunteers from the community to supervise use of the computer lab after school.
